Community-University Partnerships (CUP) is a program designed to leverage university resources to advance the over-all quality of life and health in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. CUP addresses the fifth goal of the CSUSB Strategic Plan, which focuses on expanding the university’s role as a leading regional center with a proactive agenda for educational, social, economic, political, environmental, and cultural advancement. .

CUP supports the formation of new community-university partnerships. CUP also directs a Service Learning Fellowship Program, maintains a directory of current partnerships and service learning opportunities, and provides assistance for community-based research projects.
